Eagles Nest Stage
Aspen, CO | Music Festival Stage Installation
Hunter Leggitt Studio designed and built, on the fly, a performance stage for the month long, pop-up event called the BLK MKT at the historic Crystal Palace in Aspen Colorado. This event consisted of large musical and DJ acts, a fashion boutique with designers from LA, the Pacific Northwest, and Bali, and a diverse art gallery. The event culminated with the X-Games.
The stage was designed and constructed almost entirely from demolished fencing that was found in an alley waiting for the city to haul it away to the landfill. Inspiration was derived from viking vessels and birds' nests.
